I was born in Abington, PA. I attended Adelphi University in New York and the British American Drama Academy in London where I received and Bachelors of Fine Art in Theater. After college I moved to Los Angeles where I lived for 5 years.
While in California I was introduced to Yoga and Ayurveda by Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa at Golden Bridge Yoga. This led me to The University of Complementary Medicine in Santa Monica where I was certified in both traditional Western Massage as well as Ayurvedic Bodywork. What began as a way to make ends meet became my joy and passion.
After returning to Pennsylvania I received my Yoga Teacher Certification from The Yoga Lifestyle Center. I completed a year long course on Medical Massage at the New Jersey Massage in Parsippany, where I also studied massage for clients with Breast Cancer and who've had a Mastectomy.
At the Sivananda Ashram I studied Thai Yoga Massage with master teacher Kam Thye Chow founder of the Lotus Palm School.
Most recently I completed the Penn Medicine course on Mindfulness which I believe has made me a better more focused and calm practitioner.
I have been practicing in Wayne since 2004. Many of my clients have been with me since that time. (Special Thanks to them now and always.)
These are some of highlights of my training and exploration into Massage, Yoga and general Wellness. It is a lifelong learning process and an ongoing pursuit of discovery and (hopefully) eventual mastery.
